I just babysat / dogsat for a week and I've decided that I hate dogs. No offense.
Kids are annoying too, but at least they don't poop on the floor.

David must be suffering from the "almost the youngest child" syndrome. He obviously doesn't remember the years of DeRienzo children having "accidents"!!!
I lost my mind this weekend and actually got a dog. Well... I don't know if it's really considered a dog. It is a mini dachsand. Her name is Emma. She is smaller than our smaller cat and she is a big baby! The kids totally fell in love and my hatred for dogs disappeared momentarily. I caved. Yes... I have lost my mind.
Yes, Sandy, I'm afraid you have! I'm sorry. Maybe now that you have the "dog", you'll regain your senses, but then, I fear it may be too late!
Don't get me wrong. I'm a dog lover from way back. But as much as I love dogs, I wouldn't want the cutest, most loveable one on the planet if it meant I'd have to take care of it. Too old for that. But then again, we've had more than our share over the years so I'm not exactly one to talk. Got over paying big bucks for them well over 30 years ago, though. You're way behind me on that score! If I COULD be talked into getting a dog (which is HIGHLY unlikely), it would have to be one I was given for free or one to rescue from the pound - or whatever they call it these days.
